Flying is a great example of the the synergy of QHSSE (Quality, Health & Safety, Sustainability & Environment)!

Being a student pilot and training for my PPL, I start every time by checking the quality of the equipment, testing & validating critical components. Performing LRMA’s (Last Minute Risk Assessments) on my own health, but also the safety of the plane. I take my surroundings into account (environment) and don’t waste fuel, by keeping in the optimal design specifiations of the plane. And when all is well:

Release, it is time to fly.

And I choose to do that in this plane, a Sling-2, build on this same phylosophy: the highest quality of processes and products, extremely safe to fly and made of durable materials with low impact on the environment, with very low maintenance and using a Rotax engine with best-in-class of fuel consumption of it’s category with plain (car)gasoline! A plane built to deliver top performance, day in – day out, year in – year out…

I love it when I can see how these aspects come together, integrated into processes and product choices, resulting in an amazing end product. And that I keep learning continously, with passion, to be able to better support the companies that also strive to excel and integrate these fundamentals into their organizations.
